This page describes the services available to members of the Ordnance Club through the Club premises and the online member portal, and how those services are charged and paid for. The Ordnance Club is a members-only regimental institution of the Army Ordnance Corps, established in 1907. Services are provided only to admitted members (and their registered dependents and guests as permitted by the Club Rules); nothing on the portal is offered for sale to the general public.

1. Membership

Membership is granted under the Club Rules by the Management Committee. It is not sold or applied for online.

Life Members - all serving and retired officers of the Army Ordnance Corps.
Service Members - Defence Services officers and senior Central and State Government officers posted in Kolkata, on a station / tenure basis.
Other categories - as defined in the Club Rules from time to time.

Membership subscription, entrance fees (where applicable) and periodic Club charges are raised on the member's monthly bill as per the tariff approved by the Management Committee.

2. Sports facilities

The Club is primarily a sports club. Members may use, and where applicable book through the portal, the following facilities:

Lawn tennis courts
Squash courts
Badminton courts
Swimming pool
Billiards and snooker
Table tennis
Card room
Gymnasium with training facilities

Court / slot bookings, coaching, tournament entries, guest charges and equipment hire are charged at the Club tariff and posted to the member's ledger.

3. Food and beverage

The Club's dining rooms and bars serve members and their guests during Club hours. Through the portal and mobile app, members can view menus, place food orders, scan a table QR code to order, and sign bills to their account. Charges are posted to the monthly bill or debited from the member's smart card, as applicable.

4. Banquets, lounges and events

The Club's wooden-floored ballroom, party rooms, lounges and lawn are available to members for private functions, subject to availability and the Club's booking rules. Hall bookings, advance deposits, catering and associated charges are agreed with the Club office and billed to the member. The Club also organises cultural programmes, tournaments and entertainment events for which members may register and pay through the portal.

5. Accommodation

Guest rooms are available to members and to members of affiliated clubs for short stays, subject to availability and the Club Rules. Room bookings can be requested through the portal; room tariff, advance and cancellation terms are as published by the Club.

6. Affiliated clubs

Members enjoy reciprocal facilities at the Club's affiliated clubs across India as per the current affiliated-clubs list published on www.ordnanceclub.com. Charges incurred at an affiliated club may be posted to the member's Ordnance Club ledger where the reciprocal arrangement requires it.

7. Online member services

The member portal and mobile app provide the following digital services at no additional charge:

My Bill and Ledger	View the current monthly bill, past bills, and a running ledger of all charges and payments.
Online payment	Pay monthly bills, deposits and event charges by card, UPI or net banking through the Club's payment gateway.
Smart card	View balance and recharge the member smart card used for food, beverage and facility charges.
Bookings	Request and manage bookings for sports slots, rooms, halls and events.
Food order	Browse menus and place orders; scan a table QR code to order in the dining areas.
My Profile	View membership details, dependents and photograph; request address or contact updates.
Circulars and notices	Read Club circulars, event announcements and the affiliated-clubs list; receive push notifications.
Suggestions	Submit feedback and suggestions to the Management Committee.

8. Pricing and billing

All charges are as per the Club tariff approved by the Management Committee and displayed at the Club or on the portal at the time of booking or ordering. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Charges are posted to the member's account and consolidated in a monthly bill. Bills are payable by the due date shown on the bill; late payment is governed by the Club Rules.
Online payments are processed by PayU / Razorpay or the member's bank. The Club does not store card, UPI or bank credentials.
Refunds, duplicate payments and billing corrections are handled as set out in the Refund Policy.

9. Delivery of services

All services are delivered at the Club premises at Hastings, Kolkata, or through the online portal. No physical goods are shipped. Booking confirmations, receipts and bills are delivered electronically within the portal / app and by email to the member's registered address.
